Hindang Caves and Wild Monkeys

Hindang Caves and Wild Monkeys:

Located in Hindang southern Leyte.  I forgot how much the entrance fee was but we also bought bananas so that we can feed the wild monkeys.  This wild park had alot of steep stairs to climb. As we started climbing, we started seeing monkeys coming towards us.  We feed them bananas as we climb the stairs.  Along the route going up, we passed into caves also.  It would take a long 4 hours to go to the whole route.   But since we came in the late afternoon, we could not go to the whole route.  We had to come down before it gets dark.  There are no lights along the route, I think.  There is also a rip line at the top.  Recommend to go there early so that you can finish the sight seeing the whole area.  You may want to bring water and towels because you will be sweating alot.

Here are the pictures I took:

This is the entrance.  As you can see, maybe, the steepness of the stairs.

Here comes the wild monkeys.

Here is the caves:

View from the near top.

More pictures.

You can see the wild monkeys coming close to us begging for more bananas.  Thankfully these monkeys are not aggressive.  It would just take the bananas when its given to them.
